STEVE ANGELLO CONFIRMS ALBUM FOR 2017

Swedish producer and DJ, Steve Angello, confirmed over twitter that he will be releasing his sophomore album in 2017. After the disbandment of Swedish House Mafia in 2013, Angello embarked on a solo career releasing his first album, Wild Youth. Now, to the joy of Swedish House Mafia and electronic music fans alike, the influential and immensely talented Angello appears to be working on another album for the upcoming year.

Wild Youth represented the growth of Angello as a producer as it incorporated the signature house sounds that he helped to pioneer with a rebellious streak that gave the album its trademark. His latest track, “Follow Me” produced alongside Still Young, contains all of the energy found in Wild Youth alongside progressive house and other genre influences. This release appears to confirm that fans can expect Steve Angello’s intoxicating sound to continue on to his upcoming album.

The Size founder also announced that the record label will be having a big year in 2017. Size, which was founded by Angello in 2003, represents artists such as Avicii, Tiësto, Afrojack, and Don Diablo. Seems like the record label has a lot in store for its eager fans.

As if that is not all, Angello confirmed that his “Size in the Park” show will return in the upcoming year. The show, whose last installment was in 2014, featured support from acts such as Sunnery James, AN21, and Max Vangeli amongst others. While no supporting DJs for the show’s next installment have been announced, fans can expect Angello to wow us when choosing artists for the stage.

It seems the producer is expanding everything from himself to his label for the new year, and we couldn’t be more excited. And hey, maybe one of those rumors about Swedish House Mafia’s return will be true in 2017 as well. We can only hope right?
